Bot language
The bot speaks 12+ languages. Auto-detects the client's language.
Supported languages
Bulgarian (bg), English (en), German (de), Russian (ru), Romanian (ro), Turkish (tr), Greek (el), Serbian (sr), Macedonian (mk), Italian (it), French (fr), Spanish (es). Default: BG + EN.
Where to set it
Only in the setup wizard — "Personality" screen, checkboxes for supported languages. Pick one or many.
In the dashboard the language is NOT editable currently. To add or remove a language — email ai@raiceptionist.com or create a new bot.
How detection works
The bot reads the first client message and detects the language. Replies in the same. If a client writes Bulgarian in Latin script ("iskam chas") — the bot detects it and replies in Cyrillic. If they switch mid-conversation — so does the bot.
Language outside the list
If a client writes in a language you haven't selected — the bot falls back to English (or your only selected language). We recommend keeping at least EN and BG active to avoid surprises.
Locking to one language
If you only have Bulgarian clients, leave only BG. Stricter — the bot doesn't reply to English DMs (replies in Bulgarian or stays silent). Useful for brands that want a specific tone of voice.
