Info-only mode

Bot only answers questions — no bookings.

When to choose it

If: • You have your own booking process (website, specialized software) • You don't work by appointment (shop, walk-in restaurant) • You want manual control over every booking • You're testing the bot before taking over bookings

What it does

In info-only mode the bot: • Answers questions about services, prices, hours, address • Doesn't offer specific times • Doesn't write to Google Calendar (connection not required) • When a client wants to book — routes to you (phone, website, or just "tell me what time you'd like, I'll confirm manually")
Wizard — choose between "Books + answers" and "Info-only (FAQ mode)"

Comparison: Full vs Info-only

Full booking: • Before: 15+ min/day on DMs • Google Calendar: required • Control: automatic • Good for: salons, clinics, gyms Info-only: • Before: 5+ min/day • Google Calendar: optional • Control: manual • Good for: shops, restaurants, businesses with external booking

Switching

The choice is in the setup wizard ("Mode" screen). The dashboard still has no toggle UI — to switch, email ai@raiceptionist.com or create a new bot.
