Step 1

Switch to Instagram Business Account

An Instagram Business account is free and unlocks the Messaging API that rAI needs.

1Open Instagram and go to Settings (⚙️)

2Tap "Account" → "Switch to Professional Account"

3Choose "Business" (not "Creator")

4Pick a category for your business and tap "Done"

Step 2

From the dashboard click "Connect Instagram" and log in directly with your Instagram account — no Facebook Page needed.

1Open your rAIceptionist dashboard

2Click "Connect Instagram"

3Log in with your Instagram username and password

4Approve the permissions — done!
